Diversity Visa (DV-2012) Lottery Applicants Need to Re-Check Their Entries

Starting on or about July 15, 2011, through June 30, 2012, all entrants may check the status of their entries through the Entry Status Check on the E-DV website.

For DV Program 2012, the State Department has nullified its previous selection.  Therefore, all DV-2012 Applicants, regardless of whether they were or were not selected originally, need to re-check the status of their entries.  Here is the offical link where you can check the status of your lottery entry:

Fraudulent websites are posing as official U.S. government sites. Some companies posing as the U.S. government have sought money in order to “complete” DV entry forms.
