Effective June 19, 2012, California’s newly-established Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) announced a new policy for certifying a Targeted Employment Area(‘TEA’). To consolidate all business development programs, GO-Biz has taken over all TEA designations.

Federal officials shut down foreign investment program in El Monte

The federal government has shut down a program here that allowed foreign investors to obtain green cards in exchange for investing $500,000 in the El Monte Transit Village project, officials said Wednesday.
